BBQ WEEKEND AGAIN

Weather not as good as they promised, what’s new there, but good enough to have this big boy. (Tesco are doing Tomahawk steaks) having it with slaw covered in Keto Ranch Dressing yum yum. Meat will probably last 2 days as it’s big.

Keto Ranch Dressing

• 1/2 cup sour cream (58 g)

• 1/2 cupheavy whipping cream (60 ml)

• 1 cup mayonnaise (220g)

• 2 tsp dried chives

• 2 cloves garlic

• 3 tsp dried parsley

• 3 tsp dried dill

• 1 tbsp Apple cider vinegar

• 1/4tsp paprika

• salt and pepper to taste

Finely chop the herbs and spring onion. Peel and mince the garlic.

Place the sour cream, heavy whipping cream and mayonnaise in a bowl.

Add the chopped herbs, garlic, spring onion, vinegar, paprika, salt and pepper to the bowl.

Mix until well combined.

Serve immediately or store in the fridge in an airtight container for up to 5 days

Been asked how we did steak:

Rub with a little oil

Season each side with salt and pepper

Let it stand for 1 hour

Grill or BBQ for each side for 4-5 minutes

Preheat oven to 190c/390f and cook for

  • Rare 30-40mins
  • Medium 40-50 mins
  • Well done 50-60 mins

Allow to rest for 15 mins
