These are good to make with children… quick and easy. Although it is a very sticky job.
If you don’t want to use almond flour you could sub it with coconut flour.
if you don’t want maple syrup you could use honey
2 INGREDIENT ALMOND BISCUITS
128g/1 cup almond flour
60ml/1/4 cup sugar free maple syrup
(add more syrup if your dough is too dry or more flour if too wet)
-
Add both ingredients to a bowl and mix with a spatuta or your hand until you have dough-like consistency.
-
Preheat oven to 160c/32of
-
Roll dough into a sausage the size of the biscuits you want, put the dough in cling film and put in the fridge for approximately 60 minutes.
-
Slice up the dough sausage about 1/2cm or 1/4inch thick and place the biscuits on a lined baking sheet.
-
Bake cookies for 15-20 minutes.
-
Remove from the oven and place all the cookies on a cooling rack this way. Let cool completely. Then store in an airtight container.
- You can have them plain or top with low carb chocolate or icing
Nutrition per biscuit
