What’s your opinion on fasting… I’m not sure about it. I can see the benefits of cleansing your body but surely missing your nutrients and macros isn’t good for you. What’s your opinion, what’s your experience of it?
I’m asking because I have considered doing it but am unsure of the benefits or pitfalls.

I know I’ll be blasted for this, but there’s no biological basis for cleansing. No legitimate study has ever shown a benefit (but there have been many many fraudulent studies that did). We have this amazing organ in our body called a liver. The more you study it, the more in awe you become. It is a POWERHOUSE of cleansing. Any cleansing you do actually starves your beautiful liver of nutrients. The best thing you can do for your body is to feed your liver. I’m a biologist, and spent much of my career as a clinical scientist. Love your liver! ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
