I use this as a salad dressing, over hot vegetables with my dinner and as a dip with veggie sticks as a lunch. Really tasty and has health benefits too because of the turmeric.
TAHINI AND TURMERIC SALAD DRESSING
INGREDIENTS
¼ cup tahini
2 Tbsp extra virgin olive oil
½ tsp turmeric powder
¼ tsp sea salt
¼ tsp cayenne pepper
4 Tbsp water
½ lemon, squeezed
1 clove of garlic minced or grated
INSTRUCTIONS
Whisk all the ingredients together in a bowl, adding more or less water to achieve consistency you want
Store in the refrigerator up to two weeks in a masons jar or air tight container
Dressing will get thicker in the fridge, when you want to use whisk in more water for a thinner dressing.
Just worked it out the whole batch contains 7.5 net carbs and there is enough for 3-4 servings per batch so that makes it 2.5 net carbs per serving
