1 pineapple, skinned and woody core cut out.

1/2 cup sweetish white wine, I used a Reisling

Juice and zest of 2 limes

2 tbsp honey, this can be adjusted to your own taste

1.  Cut pineapple into 1-1 1/2 cm thick strips and place in a bowl.

2.  Mix together wine, honey, lime zest and lime juice, pour over pineapple and leave for 1-2 hours.

3.  Place pineapple strips on skewers and put on BBQ until slightly charred each side.
