CARROT CAKE SMOOTHIE

When you’re not allowed solid food for 24 hours you have to get creative with your smoothies so you don’t start craving your usual main meal. So tonight I tried this and in my opinion it really tastes like carrot cake. This is very low carb and AIP

CARROT CAKE SMOOTHIE

INGREDIENTS:

1 medium banana, peeled, diced and frozen

2 medium-sized carrots,diced

120ml milk of your choice

1/2 – 3/4 tsp allspice (or you could do a mix of ground ginger, cinnamon and nutmeg)

Add all ingredients to a blender and pulse for 30-60 seconds until smooth.  

If the smoothie is too thick, add an extra 60ml of milk to thin it out.

Serve immediately.

If you don’t have a high-powered blender you may have to blend this smoothie for a bit longer.
